Ondo Finance is excited to announce that Ondo Stocks, the world’s largest tokenized securities platform with $500M+ in TVL and tens of thousands of asset holders driving $7B+ in trading volume, is now supported by MetaMask. Hundreds of Ondo tokenized U.S. stocks, ETFs, and commodity-linked products are now directly available within one of the most widely-used self-custodial wallets in the world.
MetaMask sits at the center of onchain activity with millions of monthly active users, serving as a default wallet for swapping, holding, and managing assets across the DeFi ecosystem. By integrating Ondo Stocks directly into MetaMask, users can access tokenized versions of traditional financial assets alongside crypto directly within the wallet. This unlocks 24/7 exposure to onchain equities in-app, without giving up self-custody or requiring users to move between platforms.
The World's Largest Securities Tokenization Platform Meets the World's Most Widely Used Self-Custodial Wallet
With this integration, eligible MetaMask mobile users in supported jurisdictions can access more than 200 tokenized U.S. assets, spanning equities and ETFs. This includes leading U.S. companies such as Tesla, NVIDIA, Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon; broad-market ETFs like QQQ and IWM; and commodities exposure through tokenized precious metals ETFs such as SLV (silver), IAU (gold), COPXon (copper), and REMXon (rare earth and strategic metals). Together, these assets bring multiple traditional asset classes into a single self-custodial wallet experience.
Minting and burning of Ondo Stocks assets is available 24 hours a day, five days a week, while token transfers remain available 24/7, allowing users to move tokenized securities onchain at any time.
“MetaMask is where millions of users already manage their onchain assets, and integrating Ondo Stocks introduces an entirely new asset class into that familiar wallet experience,” said Ian De Bode, President at Ondo Finance. “By integrating Ondo Stocks, MetaMask can offer its users access to tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs with pricing that reflects traditional brokerage markets, bringing the economics of platforms like Robinhood into a self-custodial, onchain wallet.”
“Access to U.S. markets still runs through legacy rails. Brokerage accounts, fragmented apps, and rigid trading windows haven’t meaningfully evolved,” said Joe Lubin, Founder and CEO of Consensys and Co-Founder of Ethereum. “Bringing Ondo’s tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs directly into MetaMask shows what a better model looks like. A single, self-custodial wallet where people can move between crypto and traditional assets without intermediaries and without giving up control. That’s the future we’re actively building toward at MetaMask.”
Expanding Global Access to Onchain Securities
Since launching in September 2025, Ondo Stocks has now surpassed $500 million in total value across 200+ tokenized stocks with tens of thousands of asset holders driving over $7 billion in cumulative trading volume. Ondo tokenized stocks are now live across Solana, Ethereum, and BNB Chain, and supported by leading wallets, exchanges, custodians, and protocols.
This growth reflects increasing demand for onchain access to traditional financial assets delivered with institutional-grade infrastructure and global accessibility. Ondo’s approach focuses on meeting users where they already transact, integrating tokenized assets directly into wallets, exchanges, and onchain infrastructure rather than siloed platforms. The MetaMask integration represents another step in this expansion, extending access to tokenized U.S. markets through widely used self-custodial infrastructure and reinforcing Ondo’s leadership in bringing traditional markets onchain at scale.
